VSHOF Auction: Steamboat Ski Package Hosted By Billy Kidd

The Vermont Sports Hall of Fame is pleased to announce an auction for a one-of-a-kind ski vacation at Steamboat, Ski Town USA, in Colorado hosted by former Olympian and Vermont native Billy Kidd, who was inducted into the VSHOF in 2013.

The winning bidder will receive a vacation package for two valued at $2,500.00 that includes: four nights lodging accommodations in one of the resort's standard guestrooms; a pair of four-day adult lift tickets; and one day of skiing with Billy Kidd, the resort's longtime director of skiing who captured a silver medal in the 1964 Winter Olympics. The package does not include transportation.

Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Vermont Sports Hall of Fame, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization and its designated charity, Prevent Child Abuse Vermont. 

The ski package was donated by both Kidd and the Steamboat Ski and Resort Corporation and it must be used by April 1, 2015 and the dates are subject to availability.  Steamboat is a premier ski and snowboard destination offering genuine western hospitality in a fun and family friendly environment located in the Colorado Rockies.
