2014 VSHOF AUCTION: BID ON A SKI VACATION WITH HALL OF FAMER BILLY KIDD

The Vermont Sports Hall of Fame is pleased to announce an auction for a one-of-a-kind ski vacation at the Steamboat, Ski Town USA, in Colorado hosted by former Olympian and Vermont native Billy Kidd, who was inducted into the VSHOF in 2013. Proceeds benefit the VSHOF and its designated charity, Prevent Child Abuse Vermont.

The winning bidder will receive a vacation package for two valued at $2,500.00 that includes: four nights lodging accommodations in one of the resort's standard guestrooms; a pair of four-day adult lift tickets; and one day of skiing with Billy Kidd, the resort's longtime director of skiing who captured a silver medal in the 1964 Winter Olympics. The package does not include transportation and is subject to availability.

Bidding starts at $1000.00 for the unique ski package and closes on November 17, 2014 at noon. Click HERE for more information and to place a bid.

The Vermont Sports Hall of Fame thanks both Kidd and the Steamboat Ski and Resort Corporation for donating the vacation package.
